The candidate who benefited from sexism
by valmont1782
...is Hillary. For every Chris Matthews there is a Gail Collins or a Rebecca Traister, repeating the dubious line that Hillary was the "smart girl" while Barack Obama was the "pretty boy," even though there was no good reason to think Hillary was smarter than a man who was editor of the Harvard Law Review. But for months, that was the line reported by women reporters and columnists. Of course, its possible that they were being racists rather than sexists, but I'm being charitable.

Or maybe I'm mistaken, and women reporters have actually held Hillary accountable for taking credit for S-Chip and the FMLA when she actually had nothing whatsoever to do with these accomplishments? Maybe Hillary wasn't crowned the inevitable nominee last summer by the media? Maybe a man would actually get to be a credible candidate for President because he was married to someone who was president? Maybe not.
