You are so right. That is why it is imperative that we at least threaten Bush and Cheney with impeachment. Also what we need is a constitutional amendment for a recall vote. The lame-duck president is a formula for disaster. No accountability. Look at what Cheney said today about being able to say whatever he wants (like West Virginians are inbreds) because he's not up for re-election. Look at his "so" statement. Look at Bush thumbing his nose at us THE PEOPLE.

People don't appreciate the role of precedent in the Presidency. It's not unlike judicial or legislative precedent.
