Mary Fitzpatrick-- I take it you've heard Obama himself "spew hatred at whitey and the USA?" He does not have to repudiate the teachings of the church, only the racist, inflammatory remarks that he heard from Wright. You don't know anything about what else was/is taught at Trinity, or even the religious dimension, or the 40+ service ministries. You only know of the same few political remarks repeated 100 times-- and have ascribed them to Obama. Please point to any action or statement that would prove that Obama is racist--someone who loves his white mother and grandparents and was only raised in a white/international environment.

Michelle says that she is really proud of Americans now that people are entering the political process, and you say she has never been proud of her country. Can you even judge Michelle? You don't know what she has been through in her life as a black woman from a struggling family on the depressed Chicago South side, and why she might have higher expectations for the country than you think she should.

Obama is not perfect, and I dont' even agree with all his policy positions, but to say he is racist is unfair. There is a lot of misinformation circulating.
