Tegucigalpa, Honduras sits in a circle of mountains. Air traffic in and out of Tegucigalpa is always harrowing. The video below shows a typical landing in which the aircraft has to break hard left to avoid the mountains in order to line up with the runway.

The second video is of a TACA Airlines plane landing in Tegucigalpa. I worked for this airline as an Aircraft Electrician (A License) for four and a half years (1966 to 1971) not too long after I got out of the Navy. I made this landing one time (in the cockpit) on a trip to work on another company plane with electrical problems. I never petitioned the company to send me back.
TACA (Transportes Aeros Centro Americano) is a Salvodoran owned airline based in New Orleans (or it was when I was there). Since that time they have begun servicing Los Angeles and Miami, and possibly some other places in the U.S. In 70 years of operation TACA has had only one fatality crash, if that record still holds, but one plane had to make an emergency landing, some years back, on a levee in New Orleans.
