Ok, I am only 32 yrs old but if you think for one minute that you can use your statistical numbers and educated calculations on me, You Are Crazy!!!
I may not have a Doctorate Degree or anything like that but, I am pretty intelligent. This article is ludacris!!!
Now for my explanation, in 1922, our country was in an era known as what? The Great Depression!! That's right!! And also, people were still using horse and buggy in those days. The automobile was a luxury in those days and only some of the wealthiest of citizens could afford one.
I can understand your analysis, but I am not buying into the propaganda of $4.00/per gallon is cheap! It was only a decade ago when we were shocked at the fact that gasoline had risen to over $1.00/per gallon in this country.
What we need to do is stop lining the pockets of over-seas oil men and domestic companies as well. Completely put the industry to a halt and let them know that we are not going to stand for this! Does anyone remember The Boston Tea Party? I am not inciting anyone to go to those extremes but we should boycott all of the gas stations and just stop buying gas period!
Now, I am understand that the tea party was due to fact of taxation without representation. England was doing the same thing as these gas and petroleum companies are doing to us now, inflating prices to fill their greed ridden pockects and taking Americans for a ride down the "Broke Lane". There is no need for these prices to be so high. The average American making minimum wage, half of their paycheck is going to fuel their car just to get to work. We have to put a stop to this!!
Don't buy into propaganda like this article and start finding a way to car pool, other ways of fueling your car,of which I know some and will be more than happy to help you or lead you in right direction. I have seen the ads for them and i am willing to share and I am in no way at the moment involved in the selling of them. I can't afford them!
If we can pull together as Americans once againg and put a big dent in these companies pockets by refusing to buy their fuel, how much do you want to bet that these prices will drop dramatically?
Think About It!
