Konark Girl, there are few cities as loose as New Orleans, but every Mardi Gras women show their breasts in public and it causes crowds and all kinds of bad behavior.
The same youth who have 24/7 porn online, who fornicate before 18, and grew up on MTV and Cinemax get a few beers in them and their rowdy slobs.
Beer and hormones trump the familiarity of a woman's body. In fact, sometimes familiarity breeds contempt, which may explain the continued prevalence of porn, the rise of prostitution and sexual slavery in many developed modern, Western nations.
Tokyo is famous for its unadulterated fulfillment of every possible sexual whim, yet women are still regularly accosted by men on subways. Now they have women only subway cars. And Japan is secular and modern.
I don't even want to talk about neighboring Mexico.
Konark Girl, you made some interesting observations, but men are not all alike, nor is their sexual interest measured by their familiarity. Its true some men loose interest with the familiar. Thus, Viagra and Cialis are popular and needed for many.
But a woman's covering is not 'hiding her modesty'. Its reenforcing it. Its reenforcing the idea of a woman deserving respect and having dignity. And her sexual charms are not for public interest.
