I'm thrilled that almost nobody on the planet thinks like you do (except maybe Osama bin Laden).

Talk is the alternative to war. Sadat-Begin, Nixon-Mao, Kennedy-Khruschev, Reagan-Gorbachev - just to name a couple of the most prominent, but also Paisley-Adams, etc. Everything is eventually resolved with negotiations, even wars which you've already won. Had Bush realized this in Iraq, things might have gone quite a bit better.
