Re: The Hitler card

Well for one thing you get your facts straight before getting into a situation where over 4000 US soldiers could be killed in a war that will last longer than WWII and that would cost you trillions of dollars and put your economy in shambles. Edward Peck, former Middle East ambassador and a Middle East expert, has stated that the consequence of the US invasion of Iraq is a destabilized the region where Iran is now able to jockey for a dominant position. Bush's war in effect, has handed the Middle East to Iran. Military solutions are only so useful. If you don't know what the gripes of your enemies are, how do you know that your military actions won't antagonize them further? And yea, lets remember that you are dealing with people who, while they do not have your military might, but they are patient and they have young men and women who are willing to make themselves, their bodies, weapons for their countries, especially if they feel that they are being invaded by a bully wielding a big stick. So why not go and antagonize them without exhausting every possible means of diplomatic negotiations?

Bush lied to the American people about WMDs in Iraq. He lied to the World about WMDs in Iraq. Mis-information is a weapon of mass destruction.
