I'd like to think that there could be peace there in the middle east but I am afraid there is an inexorable fate slated for that region.. On one side you have israel on the other side you have the the entire Arab world. The have an antipathy that stems from origins...origins that cannot be altered. They will not survive into the future together, at least not in their present form. Just as surely as the rising sea levels will cover Island nations the massive presence of Islam will eventually annex the tiny political enclave. It is a certainty that before they go they will unleash glowing Mushroom. God help all of us then.
