Why is it that conservatives want to impose their personal morality on everyone else?

I'LL TAKE A STAB AT THAT...IT SEEMS THAT THERE IS ...dammit caps...that there is a mindset that is primarily cultured by religious thinking that ...stay with me now...thinks beacuse they "Know the mind of their god that they know whats right for you and I.And if you and i do not accept their interpretations of any partiular religious myth you are just plain deluded and need some guidence to make what they believe is the correct desicions (for their religions) demands.They also seem to beleive(at least the vast majority i have spoken to about this over the last 26 years)that those who do not agree and believe with them are somhow a threat to their belief system."If you don't see the truth in my religious dogma then either MY beliefs are wrong and i can"t accept this " or If someone does not accept dogma then that person is proving that we do not have to accept their dogma,belief to live a decent life and again we are back to being a threat to their world view of blind .ignorant acceptance of thier faith and are the enemy of their god.and since god (in their twisted view) is always right ,you and i are wrong and have been misled thus needing their guidence again.A big ignorant mobias loop they have created for themselves.
