Re: Majority vs. As A whole
by J.MADISON
the true conservative:

[And no, those aren't "imaginary rights". Remember that Am 9 underscores that unless The Government is empowered to act (which it is not in the case of regulating reproduction) then it cannot act even if the majority wants it to act.]

You keep repeating this, so I'm going to keep repeating why you're wrong.

The federal constitution enumerates the powers of the federal government. That has nothing to do with what states are empowered to do.

The constitution does grant us certain rights that not even the states can violate. But that does not mean that the states can only do what the federal government is empowered to do. You keep making the mistake of conflating the two when it is convenient for your argument.

NO ,YOUR WRONG! Madison said that rights are SELF EVIDENT AND THAT THEY DO NOT COME FROM OR ORIGINATE IN THE CONSTITUION.BUT THE CONSTITUTION GARANTIES THOSE RIGHTS EXIST ENUMERATED OR NOT.ALL GOVERMENT ENTITIES ARE OBLIGATED TO FOLLOW AND NOT VIOLATE THE BASIC MINIMUN STANDARDS OF THE U.S. CONSTITUION AND NOT ABRIDgE THE FREEDOMS GARANTIED BY IT.tHIS INCLUDES STATE,AND LOCAL ENTITIES.So no,you and those like you who seem to want to minimise indavidual rights and spin constitutional ideas to your way of nonthinking have it wrong.again!!!
