or perhaps she's not "overbrimming with empathy" because this woman is going after her husband. sick or not, that's not going to endear you to someone.

having cancer doesn't give you the right to try and steal someone's spouse, or to cheat on your own. the patient/counselee is clearly in the wrong here.
