Setting aside your interesting point #1 (whereby the best response to Milt is no response), what I was focussing on was the assumption (yes, mine) that the goal of the generation-skipping bequest was based on the fact that there was a generation that deserved to be skipped, and bad planning or not, it might be worthwhile to assist in that effort.
After Iso's second post, however, it would seem that my assumed drama is not the case, and so whatever goodies are awaiting the grandkids are more likely a figment or symbolic, in which case the best response is here also to let it all pass and figure it out later.
Indeed as well, as in all cases, inserting an army of lawyers is rarely welcome. Particularly in hospice, I would agree.
