Of course, controlling 'access' to women thereby controls the men, so two birds with one stone, you might say.
Rape has always been around in every culture and isn't dictated by how little or how much clothing a woman wears OR how attractive a woman is. You hear about 80 year old women getting raped. You hear about women in burkhas getting raped. The idea that you can "control" men's libidos is laughable, don't you think? That's why I think it's ridiculous for women to care or be flattered by what men think- it's not like most men are very discerning. Even the women that you all talk about that you want (a la Maxim 100 lists) is more of a cultural consensus than what you really desire.
I think men are more influenced by societal standards of beauty than women are.
