Thank you for your thoughtful response. I do know how polarizing this contest has been. I recall that I myself, sometime around NV, "confessed" that notwithstanding that I've voted the straight democratic ticket for my entire 25 year voting career, if Clinton were the nominee, I would vote for McCain (or stay home). But having said that, I then decided I'd better read up on McCain. After about 10 minutes of reading, I realized that no matter what, I could never vote for McCain. Not only that, I was so scared by what I read that I realized there was no way I could ever stay home either.
