Actually my definition of conservatism is based on the intellectuals, scholars, movers, and shakers of the movement throughout history. As conservatives we are in fact students of history and we care a great deal about what has happened before. We recognize the mistakes of previous generations and civilizations and we do our best to not repeat them. This is not to say that everyone that has called him or herself a conservative has followed this or that true conservatives are perfect. After all, nobody is perfect.

We care a great deal about what is valuable and want to maintain it, which is where the idea of maintaining the status quo comes from. As I said, liberals (like yourself) take this out of context by assuming that we do not want change for the good. Allowing unacceptable and immoral behavior to become accepted (usually by force) is not a good thing, but rather a sign that a society is about to collapse. You must remember that it was the religious and secular conservatives of the north that wanted to abolish slavery while it was the liberal south that wanted to maintain it. It was the conservative Republican Lincoln that freed the slaves while liberal Democrats formed the KKK after they lost the Civil War. Decades later it was a liberal Democrat (Kennedy) that refused to sign the Civil Rights Act and another liberal Democrat (Johnson) that finally felt pressured into it. In fact Johnson is known to have said that he realized that by signing he was giving the South over to the Republicans for a very long time. Sure enough, the racist Southern liberal Democrats switched sides to the Republican Party. Not out of any love for our side, but as revenge against your side. In fact the South didn’t elect a Democrat again until Clinton. They went back to the Republican Party in 2000 and 2004. Considering a combination of the strong southern pride, strong American pride, the importance of family values, the Bible Belt, and the remnants of racism in the area that they will vote against Obama or Clinton.

Liberals only defend the laws that they agree with. They spend far too much time trying to repeal the laws that are designed to protect the morality of the country. While they have done some very good things in the past, New Liberals (since the early 1960’s when they started comparing Eisenhower to Hitler) are an immoral, ignorant, selfish, cowardly, and decadent lot. Your movement and your party have become the home of criminals, perverts, sexual deviants, dissidents, subversives, and traitors. While these people can be found in our party as well they represent our lunatic fringe and we look down upon these people with scorn. In contrast your side welcomes them and celebrates their diversity. Those that have committed crimes pick your side because they know you are far less likely to punish them than we are. After all they’re just misunderstood right? MJ didn’t really do it and OJ was framed right?

Yes, I was referring to Roe v Wade, a decision that was made for us and against our will. While back ally abortions were extremely rare before the decision was passed this didn’t stop the liars from spreading the idea that it was rampant. People forget that before it was legal virtually all girls either got married or lived with their parents. This is where the phrase, “make her an honest woman” came from. It was the only honorable thing to do. The father would take responsibility for his actions by protecting and providing for the mother and his child and the mother would take responsibility for her actions by protecting and providing for her child. This is the type of status quo we conservatives want to maintain. Unfortunately it is now legal to murder your child.

Based on the extensive research that I have done from many different sources on both sides I do indeed believe that the Salem Witch Trials found people that were involved in Wicca. They were guilty of horrendous things. Unfortunately lies, innuendo, misdirection, blame shifting, and excusing have obscured the truth. In addition the rampant false accusations and bizarre and insane techniques used by the religious zealots has severely diminished the impact of the truth. If you hear 1 true case and thousands of bullshit ones then you’re naturally going to assume that they’re all bullshit. Now have this idea that it’s bullshit go on for over 300 years and people will add or subtract all kinds of details to the story. As a result the truth is lost. Over time the truth becomes a story, the story becomes a rumor, the rumor becomes a myth, and the myth becomes a lie. After all these years of changing the details and outright lying about it most people simply assume that what they are told is the truth, as you have. I have no doubt that you have been told the current version of the truth since you were a child and you never bothered to look any deeper than the current or relatively current reports of the event. But don’t take my word for it, please take the time to dig deep and do find the truth yourself.

Just because something has been accepted as the truth does not mean that it really is. Educated is a relative term. There are people that are educated in that they can remember what they’ve been told is the truth and then there are people that are educated in that they’re never satisfied by what they’ve been told and they take the time to find the truth themselves. The first type are the sheep while the second type are the wolves. I was raised to be a wolf. Which one are you?

They were motivated by labor unions, communists and other socialists, gay rights activists, anti-war protestors, subversives, dissidents, and others. It does not include activities by groups such as the VVAW, pro-choice activists that have attacked pro-life demonstrations, and other smaller groups. I’m sure I missed a few.
