Yes, I think it could.

See here's the thing. I'm willing to live with y'all, and when my side loses a legislative battle, I'll come back and try again, but generally we accept the will of the majority.

Liberals, all too often, simply resort to symathetic courts to force their public policy preferences on a majority that has voted against them under the guise of "constutional rights" that they make up out of thin air.

That is the fundamental difference, and the essence of my original question.
