I agree with original intent and don't even understand the argument against. The Constitution is a contract. A contract cannot be changed unless all parties agree. The Constitution is the peoples protection against arbitrary decision from any branch of government. If the people wish to change the contract there are provision to do so. If you feel that the freedoms promised to us by the Constitution are "old-fashioned" than use your freedoms to vote and/or petition rather than giving up those freedoms which have been promised to you. My other post was a reply regarding suffrage for women and slaves. Interpretation means to read the paper and rule according to law, not to create law.
