The accurate implementation of Islam in the Muslim world would draw Muslims from throughout the world to participate therein. It would also provide the Muslim world with leadership, authority, and guidance which it is sorely lacking today.

Of course America's massive imperial hegemony over the Muslim world, with military bases from Morocco to Djibouti to Qatar and Diego Garcia and Afghanistan to Azerbaijan to Turkey to Iraq and of course Israel, triangulating the heart of the Muslim world, is kinda putting a damper on this matter. In no small part to retain control of the oil reserves residing in Muslim lands in order to feed America's fix for oil AND control Europe and Japan by controlling their oil reserves and attempt to block out China and India.

So until that changes, I offer my insights here at Slate periodically, mostly because I see a higher intellectual capacity of most Fraysters to analysis and think about the world.
