Before I continue, let me say this: I am not an ugly, jealous or single woman. I am happily married. But I was in - or almost ended up in- so many abusive relationships that I recognize the signs easily.

There is a quote in Gavin deBecker's book "Gift of Fear" that I am sure will outrage most of the men here.... and will ring true for most of the women:

"At core, men are afraid women will laugh at them.....

At core, women are afraid men will kill them."

By the time you are done reading this post, another woman will have been killed by her boyfriend or husband. Wait sixty seconds and another one will be killed.... and another....

"Talked Out" you have to get out of that relationship. Now. Before it escalates. And it WILL escalate.
