Deduction -- I was thinking much along those same lines....the parallel to some feminists who consider any form of sexually provocative dress as being an endorsement of female sexual objectification.

About a year ago, my friend Dawn Coyote (from BOTF) wrote a great article on her blog (sadly, no longer accessible) called (from memory) "Hairy Legs and Hooker Heels" that addressed the ambivalence towards sexually provocative dress.
