Oh! Poor George!! What a horrible, awful way to lose a beloved pet! You have my condolences (god knows how many years after the event in question, but you have them none the less).

On a lighter note: anal glands?!? No one squeezes MY anal glands and I seem to be just fine... why do you need to squeeze a dog's? Does someone know, or should I google? (I admit it, I'm a little scared to google "dog anal glands," just so you know.)
