I am a full time beachbum (retired Mechanical engineer) age 70. I just started my third or fourth career.....this time I am an old black harmonica player, playin' the Delta Blues in honky tonks around the Mississippi Delta and western Louisiana. It is harder for me than it is for most, cause I was born white and always worked at a good wage. I never lost my woman, my navigator, my beach home, etc. The only time I had the blues is when my dog got runned over by a drunk in a pick-up truck, so nowdays when I am singing the blues, I just remember what little Snoopy looked like with his belly squashed flat by them Gumbo Mudder tires, and I can get as sad as I need to get to play the harp real sad. Anyway, that takes care of my job, age, (I am male), my education......made 200K in my prime (spent 250K that year)....got me another dog (Cajun), and life has been way WAY better than I deserved.
