This thread is almost comical. Blacks are voting for Obama not just because he is black, but because he is an excellent candidate. His race is a partial explanation of his support with blacks, just like Bill is a partial reason for Hillary's support with her supporters. The full scale attack on and then apparent mental breakdown of Jeremiah Wright galvanized the black population to come out for Obama. Blacks had no widespread love for Wright nor his style, but they wanted to prevent the media and whomever was behind that fiasco from damaging Obama.
