One question for you, coderJo:

How much is my "fair share"???? The top 1% that you seem to villainize are already paying about 35% of the total tax burden in this country. The top 50% of wage earners pay almost 97% of the total. The bottow 50% pay less than 4%!!! And the majority of the "poor" in our country pay ZERO.

Also, as for your attack on my morality....I donate time and money to several local charities where I live, and would certainly donate more if Uncle Sam wasn't taking 35% of everything I make. It's been proven time and again that conservatives, like myself, donate far more to charitable organizations than do you liberals who scream about it the loudest. You guys are very charitable with other people's money (taxes)....but not so generous with your own. Your solution to EVERY problem is some government program that costs TAXPAYERS millions....but costs YOU nothing. What's moral about that?
