Frankly, if you can't see or have some weird eye condition that prevents you from passing a range, I don't want you enlisting in the Army. It could by my husband or my brothers life depending on your ability to shoot straight, and if you can't see the target you have no business being down range.

Men and women's lives depend on their fellow soldiers being physically fit and mentally sound. They also depend on their ability to perform their job better than 'to the best of their ability'.

Thank about that for a minute. Now think about if you had a loved one over there, and then think about if their life was on the line because a soldier couldn't see to shoot, or the soldier is too fat or too out of shape to move your (and I am going to use injured here) injured love one to safety. Personally I'm glad the Army is picky.
