Wow, Rush is pretty much off my radar. Too bad my dad wasn't alive, would love to see if he would vote for Hill or McCain haha. Could explain why my conservative bro is going for Hill. That is just wild.
I have a different take on the election primarily because what I listen to is an alternative music station or my IPOD and less frequently NPR. I read journals and mags for my political info, try to translate Das Spiegel sometimes, and do read the NYT when it is available, all other US papers I look at with reserve.
Since Bush won I stopped watching TV and since 9/11 I have disconnected from any source of commercials. I watch DVDs and when I want to see a specific show I'll see if anyone I know will be watching it, or I head on over to my mothers.
Limbaugh is not in my top 1000zillion so will be a few millenia until I get to him, and I avoid the threads that talk about him, he's just too weird for me. I had heard bloggers rant about him telling people to vote for Hill but I gloss over those posts because you know....they rant about a lot of stuff that isn't rant worthy and I don't want to waste my time reading it.
If this is true though. The Dems are more insane than I had originally thought. It should be mandatory for the Democratic party to mingle with middle America....call it a job requirement. Then maybe they will understand our justifiable skepticism and reserve. My grammie called it the "sense the good lord gave you".
Hill is a moderate, she has common sense, she wants to do what is right for her peeps. That is a lot more than I can say anyone else offered me. Including Edwards.
