But your attempts to use illegal aliens and voter fraud to achieve everlasting power in a one party system akin to nazi Germany or communist Russia has been dealt a serious blow. I bet you really hate the Supreme court now.”

My Response

I find it ironic that the guilty often try to "flip" the charge to which they feel most vulnerable by leveling it at their potential accusers. So Wright accuses modern white America of race hate, (only marginally true, inevitably) but his own visceral bitterness shines through his remarks like a beacon. Clinton ( a real multi-millionaire) accuses Obama of being elitist, when she can't even manage a coffee-machine and feels it necessary to point out that she isn't really familiar with the handle of a fuel pump, (I haven't rotated my own tires in 30 years, but I'm sure I still know how to do it.)

The biggest sinners in this regard, however, are the Conservative Republicans. Their dialogue, especially on-air, is much more reminiscent of hate speech than the Democrat dialogue. That's why I could never vote for a Republican, not because of their leadership, but because of their followers.

Conservative's quite bluntly, by definition, want to preserve the status quo. This means preserving the ascendancy and advantages held by the nations elite. To do so, it is Conservatives who have to yes, "CLING TO," sloganeering about guns, religion, immigration, and even access to health and education, all basic necessities in their own right, which should not be unfairly apportioned to the few. It hurts the nation as an international competitor, but conservatives don't care. So they lie, about (illegal) immigration being a net drain on the economy ... an outrageous and pathetic lie.

Illegal immigration is a huge security threat to the nation, pure and simple, but it persists and is even encouraged by some because it is a huge PLUS for our economy, and constitutes a demand pull originating from inside OUR country rather than a push. That is, as with the influx of illegal drugs, if the demand for their goods and services didn't exist they wouldn't be here. The conservative fear is driven, albeit understandably, by English speaking Americans who fear that they will lose their majority. (An unnecessary fear since, even in revolutionary Haiti for example, wealth has always been a minority, and has always had an abundance of resources to maintain its edge and privilege.)

Yet the hate speech continues, kept alive by fallacious simplistic slogans, which fail to distinguish between expenditure on consumption and expenditure on investment. This is a fateful distinction which is at the root of our present debt to overseas countries like China, for example. A business which fails to invest in training its human resources is doomed to eventual failure. Education is the life training which a government MUST invest in to maintain its technological and management edge against the rest of the world. Health is directly connected to GDP and there is a direct connect between the fact that 40 to 46 nations in the world have a longer average life span and lower infant mortality rate than the USA, and our increasing balance of payments deficit.

Just think, people who live on average ten years longer, work and produce longer, and also buy things, much more things than people who live ten years less. I've done the math and a ten year increase of average life-span works out to a higher boost in the value of our national production in one year, than we have spent in Iraq in five years. That is a HUGE difference, and that is the kind of difference our governments have to be able to aim at, if we are to maintain our place in the world, now matter how many H bombs we control.

The countries with the lowest per capita output in the world are the countries with the shortest life spans. Until now, we have been able to keep up productivity by our ability purchase expensive technology, but the rest of the world has been catching up and more and more nations are passing us w.r.t. productivity (per capita). Even here education plays a part, because the techniques for acquiring foreign technological know how are being taught in foreign universities, from text books, so it no longer requires the canniness of a Lee Kwan Yu of Taiwan who pioneered the actual implementation of the developmental model for which Sir Arthur Lewis received his Nobel Prize.

The genie is out of the bottle, (national developmental strategies), we're falling behind. The Conservative, "hate speech" not the Democratic idealism is becoming an encumbrance. If we cling to their mores, we are clinging to an old battleship, which has seen better days and which would have been retired long ago but for the nostalgia of the Conservative political war machine. They are in danger of wrecking the ship, and then fleeing to their mountain retreats in the few helicopters available, whilst the rest of us drown in the rising tides, (literally).
