This entire article is a waste of time, focus and energy. Even if she did have a slip of the tongue and mistakenly leave off the "D" in "blessed", clearly that is not what she meant. Clearly should would never intend to say that in public, even if she meant it. And a dropped consonant is not grounds for claims of a "Freudian Slip".

How ridiculous -- and that it appeared on the front page of Slate! There is so little news that a slip of the tongue is front page fodder.

Tomorrow's headline: "BABY SAYS, 'SHE SHOO SHIT GAH,' SLATE STAFF CALL CHILD SERVICES."
