I know I will never be able to understand. Just as I know there is no way in hell you're going to see me in uniform. (I am amazed at the strength of the people who do serve, me, the first time someone told me to get down and do twenty would be the last time anyone would see me. I just do not have it in me.)

It drives me crazy that this government has the audacity to send our military off on wild and deadly goose chases. These are peoples LIVES they are playing with!

Back when I actually protested the then up-coming war in Iraq, I was often yelled at - if you don't support the war you aren't supporting the troops. That pissed me off so much I still can't see straight. I was protesting sending the valiant off to be damaged for no good reason, and somehow that's not supporting the troops?

I have great respect for all the men and women who have been and who are serving. I think sending them off on fools errands is disrespectful to their service. I would like to thank everyone who has served in any military capacity for doing it even when our stupid Commander and Chief makes stupid decisions resulting in the stupid deaths of so many. You are all far better and braver than I, and you certainly did not deserve the post you were assigned or the treatment you got when you came home. You deserved far far better.
