Indeed: many twins, one pair of which were serial murderers according to a rhyme scheme, all at the same convention. This much islandtime has revealed to us. But their names seem as irrelevant to the plot line as the name of the rich man is to the parable of Lazarus and the rich man (and maybe for the same dramatic reason: "the name of the righteous [hero] shall endure forever" or something like that, but "the name of the wicked [villain] shall rot").
Bliss indeed. My one visit to your area (in high school) was in a time of excellent weather (even if a drought was going on), and I still remember it. It was for the International Science and Engineering Fair. I won 2nd place in my county, but nothing there; still, it was encouraging to have professional astronomers take an interest in my work.
We had wonderfully clear and not too hot weather in Houston also today. I didn't get to go out too much in it, but it was for a good cause: some long e-mail discussions with a certain singer-songwriter. Not romantic ones, but I enjoy the challenge of dealing with her thoughts and her moods. (In case I haven't told you, I plan to visit Evian, France this fall, although I don't yet know if she will be attending our church's celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles over there or in Wales. She may not know herself as yet.)
