Well, first, sounds like the bride-to-be is worried about her future mother-in-law showing her up on her wedding day... She not once mentions that her future MIL is not fit to wear the dress for any reason other than her age.

Second, I am confused about how the color is a true issue. She writes "And it's robin's egg blue—which doesn't even go with my champagne-colored dress, the bridesmaids' sage green, the chocolate brown tuxes, and my mother's pale pink dress."

OK - I am no designer - but I am not keen on HER mother wearing pale pink when the bridesmaids are wearing sage green...

It is funny that HER mother ran to her with the news of the dress... I think HER mother is feeling a little frumpy.

She needs to just get a grip.
