i'd like to know how large. I was raised Christian, though i don't espouse the faith anymore. I have met and known a lot of professed Christians- even some of the "born again" Protestant variety. I've spoken with Seventh Day Adventists and even Jehovah's Witnesses. And NONE of them sound as hateful as doggy sounds on his nicest days.

I can see why you might call him consistent- intelligent and informed? i don't see that at all. (unless you mean by that that he can form coherent sentences upon occasion, and the oh so rare treat of the cogent argument once in a blue moon). His sincerity- he's such a nut job he either has to be completely sincere or if it's all just a performance piece, he must be truly committed. Either way, I wish he really would be committed and locked far away from both a voting booth or the internet.
