Feminist Generation Gap
by Kfly62

The reason Hillary doesn't resonate as strongly with younger female voters is that there is very little sexism internalized in today's girls. My daughters have no thought that their gender would prevent them from doing anything they want to do. Older women were raised believing that girls could not do everything, and have had to convince themselves that they were capable and worthy. The echoes of that personal epiphany are still heard in the "boys picking on the girl" sentiment we hear from Hillary. Young women don't relate to it.
