Does everyone forget that a whole big bunch of us in or nearing our 60's, while perhaps not bombing buildings and not quite so radical as Ayers, were very much in tune with the message the Weathermen and SDS finally got through to the ruling President and Congress that it is not acceptable to spill American blood in a war that is going nowhere. There are two sides to the coin of being associated with radicals with contrarian beliefs. Maybe they are just an exaggerated arm of what many of us believe. I see the same anti-establishment feelings festering under the existing administration. When are we going to get it that nothing changes till something changes and that it must get different before it gets better. Some of these "associations" Obama has may be a positive rather than a negative thing for more than most think.
