homosexual intolerance
by Southernlawstudent
Wow, this guy's column made me laugh. It seems humorous to me that homosexual sympathizers like this author seem to think that homosexuality has been cruelly dismissed from such holy institutions as the priesthood and clerics in Islam. What made me even more incredulous as I read this terribly misguided author's article is that he believes that the religious institutions are the one's that need enlightening. Why? I understand that North America is starting embrace relativism (to its own peril I might add), but why is it that you believe that we should allow individuals that are engaging in this disgusting and immoral lifestyle to instruct others about Godly living? If we were to allow that it would be like the blind leading the blind. What homosexuals have refused to come to terms with is that humans do not have the option to selectively pick and choose what precepts of God's law they want to follow and that which the don't. Homosexuality is conspicuously forbidden in both the Christian and Muslim Faith. Therefore, if the Islamic, Catholic and Christian community were to sanction this sodomitic lifestyle within their respective institutions we would be convoluting the faith that God has entrusted to us. Furthermore, this is not a matter of the Muslim, Christian, and Catholic community being intolerant, rather it is a matter of protecting fundamental values of our faith. Finally if homosexuals want to practice their own perverted brands of religion they should form their own institutions.
