I disagree shusaku. I don't see how we are 'ignoring developing ways of treating cancer' by avoiding known carcinogens like asbestos. This article seemed to imply that avoiding environmental cancer risks is a lost cause since we're just going to get cancer from some 'natural' cause anyway.

True avoiding carcinogens won't guarantee that we don't get cancer. But, does that mean we shouldn't bother?
