Are you playing at being dense or do you really not understand what I said?

Let's take an example. A painting. We can say it's made up of various colors. We can measure them. We know the spectrum of light and so we know which parts are red and which are blue. These colors are properties of the painting. If the entire canvas is red we can know this objectively by detecting it.

We can weigh the painting. We can place it on a scale and measure it. The weight is a property of the painting. It doesn't weight three pounds for you and six for me.

But if you look at the painting and say it's beautiful and I say it's not, which is it? It's both. It's neither. Beauty is not a property of the painting. It's a property of your mind.
