What's shocking about Obama's gaffe is that he screwed up and told the truth. I'm posting this from Flint, Michigan, so I know what I'm talking about. It's been fifty years since I last heard a Democrat or Republican office seeker tell the truth to an audience of voters. We ARE a bunch of bitter, cynical D.C. haters because they always lie to us! Never the truth. They lie! A steady stream of vague, soothing ass-kissing flattery! They blow smoke up our asses until our eyes water. To my great surprise I WILL vote for Obama. Although I'm sure multimillionaire McCain will win because he's as condescending and as lying as the next goddamn DemoGop. But Barack told the truth! That's what's really shocking.
