When did your residential status mean you get to be treated less humanely than a dog? I've read people who said that illegal immigrants get whatever they deserve, rape, penis amputation, a shot in the head. What is wrong w/ you people? You don't have to condone illegal immigration to be outraged that HUMAN-FUCKING-BEINGS are treated in a way that would give Auschwitz survivors flashbacks.

I've never condoned illegal immigration, but I've recently emigrated to Scotland (legally) and it's not easy, and it's not cheap. I can only imagine what it would be like for someone in a worse off position than me fleeing a country where they death seemed likely. The experience has been humbling and eye opening.
