All this analysis of the LW and the daughter is unecessary and ridiculous. It is clear cut...the daughter was rude. She is an ADULT. She is not a child. She needs to get over it. They don't have to be best friends, but her father AND the stepmother, AND the stepmother's children deserve common courtesy.
