Those of us who are emotionally secure generally do. Those who tend to regard the mothers of their children to be in any way "inferior" have diminished humanity; this, not just Hitchens' God-mania is the root of war, the idea that one cannot elevate oneself without demeaning others.

I firmly believe that if Jews and Arabs in Palestine dated and intermarried freely, the entire basis of that conflict would dissipate. That one side cannot conceive of the women on the other side as marriageable is at the root of their derangement.
