Bush Screwups

George Bush is at last nearing the end of his presidency. To say this has been a rough ride is an understatement. He has navigated both terms as president as if riding on and inflatable tub going down the rapids. He has been thrown overboard many times, but he only gets back in the tube and continues onward certainly, not forward. He has been capsized by the economy, the housing market and other woes. But his biggest debacle is clearly Iraq. The lives that have been lost during this war is not settled. We know we have lost over 4,000 Amercians, the numer of wounded with closed head injuries, blow off limbs, and unrecognizable bodys fill the landscape of America, but nobody has a clue of how many men, women and children have been lost in Iraq. War is some times unavoidable, but when we choose to go to war make sure it is the last resort and that you have eliminated all of the possible reasons for not going with due dilligence. We all know the story now, it was a performance befitting of David Copperfield, with a bunch of "hocus pocus," smoke, and mirrors that fooled the people. Shame on you Mr. Bush! Your legacy is one that will define your presidecy as one that was to secretive, one that allowed a Vice president, to much power, was full of cabinet members that that stayed on the message even when that message was wrong. His own father had warned of the inpending doom that an invasion of Iraq would cause during his own presidency but this didn't register with George either. A leader is one who directs others in a meaningful way. Not one who is directed by his underlings (Cheney, Rumsfield, Rice). So as big George Bush goes into the sunset with his six-shooter at his side, a wanted poster of Bin Laden tettered and worn in his vest, one only has to look at his foot to see where his gun has been firing, while he's been in office. And knowing George he probably dosen't even realize it.
