The reason Obama can't put Slick Hillary away is simple. He's really good at the charismatic speech and presence stuff in the same way John F. Kennedy and (with distaste) Slick Willy Clinton were on the campaign trail. But he's not so good with the hardball issues the voters want answered before they will commit to him.

What are you going to do about the economy? What are you going to do about the health care crisis? What do you propose to do about the illegal alien problem? And while we're at it, how do you propose to stop the illegals draining the Social Security system dry, just at the time the Baby Boomers who have paid into the system all their lives are starting to retire? What are you going to do about the subprime mortgage mess that helps the homeowners and not merely Wall Street? Are you going to back away from your anti-Second Amendment stand when DC V. Heller is decided for Heller, or are you going to try for back-door gun control? How are your going to rein in the oil companies so people can afford to fuel their cars to go to work AND feed their families? What are you going to do about the quagmire in iraq, and how will you implement whatever that is?

We the People have a lot of questions for Obama, and he is only now starting to provide a very few, very tentative answers. We need more solid information before we can say, "Yeah, I'll vote for this guy" - or not.
