Dr. Paul is an humble man who believes that government works best when it follows the Constitution. Over his past 30 years in public office, he has never voted for a tax increase, so he is not in favor of taxing the people. He has always voted for a balanced budget, so he's for lower government spending and living within our means. Finally, he's for going to war with a declaration of such from Congress and not at the whim of the President, so he's for defending our borders at home and not policing the world, at large.
