To be homophobic means that you have an aversion to homosexuals. That is that you are afraid of them and wish to avoid them.

Simply disagreeing with someone's lifestyle choice does not make you homophobic. As a moral, God-fearing person I cannot agree with or condone unrighteous, sexually deviant behavior, that is in fact, very perverse in nature. No one is required to condone the choices of others. By the standards of you fraysters, I ought to applaud those that engage in S&M, swinging and prostitution. Afterall, it is all concensual. Well, we're not talking about concensual here. We're talking about moral, righteous, Godly.

I do not hate homosexuals. I feel sorry for them, for they are living a very sinful life far removed from the love and happiness that can only come from the true God. No matter how they may delude themselves about their own religious position. I would like nothing more than to see them repent and live Godly lives, to live the "real life." - 1 Timothy 6:16

All of us have sinful desires and traits that are difficult to overcome. Some traits are more difficult than others to overcome, but not impossible. But with the "power beyond what is normal" that God gives, some have overcome this strong desire, to live morally clean lives. This has sometimes meant remaining celibate. Yet ask those who have turned around and put God first, and they will be the first to tell you it is the best, most life-fulfilling decision that they have ever made.

In the end, you people all have the free-will to live your live however you like. But do not think for one second that the choices you make are without consequence. Know this, and know this well before it is too late for you: "It is righteous on God's part to ....... bring vengence upon those who do not know God and those who do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus." 2 Thessalonians 1:8. But if you are too arrogant to even attempt to get to know your Creator, the one who gave His own son for our sakes and who has given us every perfect present and every good gift.....if you are so arrogant so as to think that in your short life, with such limited ability for both hindsight and foresight, to think that you know better and are wiser than the one who created and who has existed for all time.....then there really is no hope for you. Furthermore, if you have such limited knowledge of science and critical thinking ability so as to believe the lie of evolution, then by your own account you really are orphans and there is no one to weather you through the storm. You are but small children, relying on the simple flawed reasonings of other small children, blindly groping through life. And yet it is your own hard heart that causes you to be unable to reach out for the kind, loving, wise hand of your Heavenly Father.

I have said my piece, perhaps my last on the Fray. I know that what I have said is a hated and unpopular message in this morally loose, Godless world, so by all means, commence the rotten vegetable throwing.
