You might want to take a look at the math involved to end the nomination as well as how long this nomination process is taking, as compared to previous ones. This isn't a federal election, it's a party nomination. The most ludicrous suggestion about disenfranchising voters has actually come from Hillary; insinuating that pledged delegates (the ones chosen for a candidate by the voters) might change their votes.
