That's it -- there's no way to miss the comparison to King Kong. But nobody called Peter Jackson racist for remaking the movie a couple of years ago. If it's a shock that Vogue might use a little sexual frisson to sell magazines, then think again. Surely, in this case, racism is in the eye of the beholder.
