enter the fray: our reader discussion forum
Re: I believe

Two observations:

1.) I find your entire, "I don't play politics" more than a bit disingenous. He who has nothing invested has nothing to lose. Thus, when you speak about the lesser of two evils, your words are ridiculously hollow.

George W. Bush has very systematically stripped this country of many of its better qualities (I am no deluded child, I know full well that Billary Clinton helped in that process). I thus interpret your comments as crass testaments that you, and unfortunately a great many Americans, simply do not care. That does not place you above the fray, it places you below contempt. At least biteoftheweek has an opinion, I may think that s/he is wrong (and possibly evil), but I still respect the stance.

In contrast, your opinionless blather is disgusting. You want an independent president? You have to elect one. The man or woman voted into office will not suddenly change long-standing habits. That is why the vetting process is so important.

2.) Do everyone a favor and turn off the bold. Bold and caps are used for emphasis. When everything is printed in bold, it makes it difficult to read. You haven't really said anything worth emphasis, therefore, just turn it off.
