Re: virgin clubs

i agree with mercadia. it disgusts me to think that ppl who are virgins are considered to be social outcasts who couldn't get laid if they tried or religious nut bags. there ARE ppl out there who could get laid without even trying and who ARE NOT religious at all! not even "spritual!" they'd just rather not have to deal with the drama that comes with having sex before they're ready or with somewho who only cares about getting their next orgasm. i have mad respect for virgins in today's world. i'm married and very secure in my marriage but i know plenty of ppl who are married or in long term, commited relationships who are NOT secure and use sex as a weapon or bargining tool b/c they don't have what it takes to stand up for themselves and demand what they want out of the relationship. sex fucks with your brain. we all know that. and men and women respond to sex differently. men, as a general rule can seperate "just sex" from "making love," there are women who can as well, but we all know a great majority can't. and b/c of this, we have this whole new war between women who do "do it" and women who don't. there are segments of society that look up to or down to women who do or don't have sex in the confines of marriage, but as a general rule, we all know that both sex's would rather have someone who waited until they were in a commited, loving relationship to have sex. be it marriage or not. there is NOTHING WORNG WITH THAT! geez. at least virgins don't have to worry about getting pregant or an STD, rumors flying around b/c ppl think they're a slut (men can be sluts, too!), disappointing their family by having the consequences of their having sex seriously change the plans they may have had for them or the plans they had for themselves. they do worry about the usual stuff: passing classes, getting and keeping a job, getting that first place to live in, paying bills, etc. NOT HAVING sex rot their brains makes life just a bit more easier for them. esp since we all know what happens when men think with their penis and women by spreading their legs. we should all take a page from the virgin handbook and step back every once in a while and stop letting our "natural desires" rule us. we'd be a lot better off as a society if we did.
